A big part of what helped change my mindset on cycling early last year were the musings of Grant Peterson and the bike philosophy surrounding the likes of ultraromance. For them, the ideologies and pretense of cycling as a hobby has practically been ruined by road culture. Their “back to the basics” approach to simply enjoying being on top of the bike and enjoying yourself made me rethink my own approach to the bicycle. And I’ve enjoyed it much more since.
Last year, Ultraromance joined a group of cyclocross cyclists and participated in the Dirty Kanza 200 – a grueling 200 mile cross country endurance race. Their experience was filmed for a documentary, which will debut on May 31st. Watch the trailer below.
The full length feature will stream for only three days – May 31st through June 2nd. You can watch it here.
